Hand Placement Tip for Defensive Backs

Hey Defender of the Airways,

Nowadays in press man coverage, using the hands has become super secondary

All of the focus has been placed on “mirroring the release”. I get it, we don’t want to get shook or go left when the WR goes right but we still have to use our hands.

On that note, we must know where and how to place those hands if we are going to use them. In the video below, I explain the where and the how of hand placement in press to my high school group during a session.
